Dear Prof. Dr. Nagel:

We welcome Mr. Westphal as a visitor 
to the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, beginning September 1978,
on a German fellowship.

We will be moving into a new building, approximately in January of 1979, and
there may be inconveniences associated with the move:  limited office space
and disruption of computer service.  However, there will be benefits of the
move in that the entire Computer Science Department will be together in one
building.  We can provide office space, shared by other students, use of
the AI Lab KL-10 computer system, and hand/eye facilities and research program.

Mr. Westphal may come to the lab without admission as a student to Stanford
University.
